National Membership
To officially become a member of our American Chemical Society Student Affiliates you need to be a member of the National American Chemical Society. Membership is free to you since we will pay your membership bill. If you would like to join National ACS please do the following:
Online Application:
- Go to the "National ACS" link.
- Once in the National ACS site scroll down to the bottom where you must click on "Join ACS Now" link
- If you have a credit card and would like to sign-up online please click on "Online Application Wizard".
- You are applying as "Student Affiliates (Undergraduate Students Only)"
- Fill out your information. (Note: We will only reimburse you for the $21 membership fee and not the other journals. If you wish to not receive the journals please just sign-up for the membership dues only.)
- You can bring the invoice to us and we will pay your ACS membership fee directly, OR pay for the membership with your own credit card. When you are mailed the membership card, please bring the card to us.
You can either bring the card in to us at our meetings on Wednesday nights at 7 pm in Pacific Hall room 4500.
Or you can photocopy your card and drop the photocopy with your mailing address in our mailbox in the Chemistry Department Office on the 4th floor of York Hall. We will then write you a check for the $21 membership fee and hand it to you or mail it to you.
