April 30: General Body Meeting: Social night! We will be playing the CSI episode that featured Dr. Trogler's research, and there will be liquid nitrogen ice cream and other goodies, in addition to the usual pizza and drinks.
Winter Quarter 2008:
January 9: Welcome Meeting (no speaker)
January 16: General Body Meeting: Panel on Family, Parenting, and Women in Science and PhD. Speaking were Jenny Beaver, Mandy Lewis, and Daris Drake
January 17: NMR "Bubble" visit. This will be at 3:30. Please RSVP with Mike if you wish to attend (see the "Officers" page for contact information).
January 23: Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream and Movie Night (Sicko by Michael Moore)
January 30: During the day, High Tech High will be on campus for a "Field Trip". We will be doing a presentation (ala the one we did at Sally Ride Day) for the kids as a part of their visit. Later in the day, the General Body Meeting speaker was James Ma, representing the UCSD biodiesel project, BAAN.
